Elon Musk Prepares To Give Free WIFI To The Whole World

Elon Musk is an Entrepreneur who has bought so many successful technologies in the world and made them really cool. His companies like Paypal, Tesla, SpaceX, etc are leaders in the market and never fail to amuse people with its inventions. Recently, he announced that he prepares  to give free WiFi to the whole world and that’s good news to everyone.

Below are the details of Elon Musk giving free WiFi to the world:
This idea has been circulating since 2016.
This idea has been in talks since 2016 and there has been enough time to implement it.
Two satellites for free WiFi have been already launched.
These were low orbit satellites for testing purposes and they definitely succeeded.
He’s planning to launch 4000 satellites in space.
If these 4000 satellites (4425 to be exact) get online and working, the world could get free internet via these.
This project could cost $10 Billion.
The estimated cost of the project seems too high but we know the real deal it could offer.

Satellites will measure 4×1.8×1.2 cubic meters.
This will be the size of each satellite from the 4000 which will help the world get free internet.
Federal Communications Commission has received the official request.
The department that approves the launch has officially received the request from SpaceX and the project could begin as soon as they get an official nod.

There are issues as well.
Critics have pointed out the fact that if the satellites will provide internet, it will make whether the most important thing in determining if you can use the service.
But, has anything stopped Elon Musk ever?
I think now, he never stopped with these things and keeps attaining his feats and giving us the world’s best technologies.
Elon Musk has explained the project in many interviews.
And from what common people like us can understand, it looks like a really promising one. Let’s hope everything gets right and we get to experience a worldwide free WiFi.

Have You Seen An Electric Bulb With Bluetooth?

Electric bulb with Bluetooth

Have you see an electric bulb that uses Bluetooth? This may sound strange to some people due to the fact that it's their first time of hearing or seeing a thing like this.

Philip Hue bulb is a bulb that has an inbuilt Bluetooth system that allows you to control the bulb at a maximum range of 20 feet.
Philips Hue smart bulbs are getting what may be their biggest upgrade ever: many bulbs will now ship with Bluetooth built in, allowing them to be set up and used.

Adding Bluetooth to the bulbs comes with some big benefits and really only some minor drawbacks. The major benefit is that anyone who owns a smartphone will be able to screw in one of these light bulbs and control it directly from their phone.
That’s great for the Hue line and for buyers — it’s now far easier to get started with Hue bulbs, because you don’t need to commit to buying and installing a hub before you even know if you’re happy with the bulbs in the first place. Many other smart bulbs have taken this approach, using either Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and it’s made them far better options for people who only want one or two smart lights, rather than a whole home full of them.

The downside to using the bulbs this way is that Bluetooth has a much shorter connection range than the wireless system that Hue bulbs have traditionally used — Zigbee — and they won’t be remotely connected to the internet. That means you’ll only be able to control them when your phone is in range of the bulbs, or about 30 feet away. If you forget to turn off a light, you won’t be able to go into the app and flip it off from outside the house.

Fortunately, Hue bulbs will continue to include Zigbee. So you can buy a bunch of Bluetooth bulbs, and if you later want to do more with them — control them out of the house or from a longer range — you can buy the hub to upgrade your system. Signify, which makes Hue bulbs, recommends upgrading once you’re using more than 10 bulbs.

Bluetooth is coming first to the Hue line’s traditional A19 bulbs and BR30 flood light bulbs. Prices will remain roughly the same as they’ve been in the past: $15 for a single white bulb ($30 for two); $25 for a single “white ambiance” bulb, which you can control the col

What To Do If Your Phone Gets Stolen

What to do if your phone gets stolen

Mobile devices are commonly used to communicate and search for information. As a result, they do often contain person data like emails, text messages, voicemail messages, calendars, locations, pictures and films. If by any chance your phone gets stolen, anyone may potentially get access to all of the previously mentioned data which may put you, your colleges or employers to a serious risk.

In order to keep your data and device safe you should consider using the following advice before your phone gets stolen:

  • Remote tracking & deleting : Most of the phones have operating systems which allows you to remotely locate and/or delete data on a lost device. You will probably need to install and configure a special application like “Find My iPhone” in Apple devices, “BlackBerry Enterprise Server” connection in BlackBerry phones. In Android phone you will find a few applications designed for it.

  • Encrypting: If you have an access to your mobile device, you may also try some more advanced solutions that do not require a PIN or password to get to your data. Encrypting protects your personal data from more “professional” attacks. Some of the devices have the encryption already in them, some however require either switching on or installing. In the Android devices you need to active it by entering Menu > Settings > Personal > Security > Encryption > Encrypt my device.

  • Backing Up the device: The Backup allows you to quickly restore all the information located on lost/stolen phone. Backups should be performed regularly, it will help you when your phone gets stolen.

The First Thing To Do When Your Phone Gets Stolen Is To Block It

In Android smartphones one of the most popular websites for blocking a phone when it gets stolen is Android Device Manager. In order to use it, you need to log in to your Google account (the one connected to your phone). If you are unable to access it on your computer, you can always use the mobile application (for example on your friend’s device).
What to do if your phone gets stolen

This tool allows you to locate your device, block it or remotely delete all data. The last two options may not be available from the beginning – you will probably need to activate them in the settings or remotely from the Internet website. On your device choose section “Device administrators > Settings > Security”.
You can also turn off the mute if by any chance it was switched on on your device. This feature might particularly come in handy when you cannot find your phone but it is still within your reach.

In order to locate your stolen phone, it needs to be connected to the Internet (mobile or WIFI). The process of location will be more accurate if your phone has GPS functions turned on. If you notice that your device is being moved that might mean that someone has already “taken care” of it. After having clicked “Phone Lock”, you should see the following form.
The remote phone block requires a password that you will use to unblock your device. You can also make a message visible on your lost phone informing the finder how to contact you. This message will be seen on the blocked screen of your phone. If you give your contact number, it will not be shown – the finder will only have an option to call you without seeing the actual phone number.

The remote hard resetting on your device is an irreversible operation. If you do not regularly archive your data, you may loose the access to them. By performing the factory reset, your stolen phone will be brought back the default setting and all of the data will be deleted

How To Strengthen The Network Signal On Your Smartphone

How to strengthen network signal on your Android smartphone

Sometimes our operator's promise to have the signal in 99% of our country is not enough. You will find some useful instructions below on how to improve the signal in your device in case you happen to be in need.

The more users a network transmitter has, the worse signal you get. This is called "cell breathing" - it reduces the radio coverage inside the smartphone (which is the capacity to catch the singal from the transmitter) when the intensity of traffic increases. The operators also warn us about the "white spots" (in elevators, underground parking lots, underpasses etc). The problems with signal can also occur in mountains, woods - trees can actually be a very good signal blocker. When you happen to be in a "white spot" it usually helps when you slightly change your position. But what to do when walking around in search for signal doesn't bring any positive results?

Sometimes the easiest opiton could be the best option. Try manually changing the network from 3G (WCDMA/UMTS) to GSM (2G). The smartphone network could catch the signal from up to 8 kilometers of distance whereas in 3G this distance is significantly smaller. In the first network you are still able to surf the Internet although the connection may be smaller.

    In order to do that:
    1. On your smartphone Go to Settings > Mobile/Cellular Network
    2. Choose the option More Networks in the Connection settings.
    3. Then tap on Preferred network
    4. Select the SIM used for data connection
    5. Change the Network from 3G to 2G.

A much cheaper solution is to by a 3G/GMS antenna. It is usually quite small and you can put it anywhere in the room. Remember that the higher the antenna is located, the better the signal is for your smartphone. If you need an antenna for a bigger building we would recommend hiring a company which specializes in that field.

The previously mentioned solutions do not guarantee a 100% efficiency to your smartphone signal. If you still have big problems with catching a signal, we would recommend changing the Operator - maybe the cause of your problems lies there.

How To Make Your Smartphone Battery Last Longer

Does your Smartphone battery die quickly and you don't know how to save it? Well check out few of the tips below to increase the battery life.
    1. Pretend you are on a plane .
The airplane mode is actually the most efficient when it comes to energy. When you turn it on, most of the battery-consuming processes are switched off. That is why when you charge the device in that mode, it should charge up a little bit faster than in the usual mode. The ideal thing would be to turn your phone off when you are not using it however if you cannot do it, the airplane mode is almost just as good.

    2. Use the producer's charger
Usually the charger which you are given together with the device charges your phone the quickest. Charging by USB cable may be universal but they use less than 1 amper and the modern devices usually need 2 ampers or more. Simple math - the fewer ampres, the slower charging. That is why we recommend using the original charger. If you do not have one, there are special chargers which you can buy that have more than 2 ampers - remember to always check that parameter when you decide to purchase a new charger. In this case, Apple device are more thought through and it does not make much of a difference which charger you use with them.

    3. Make use of Battery savers
On the App market you can also find some applications- for example ChargeDr. They will help your device charge faster when you connect them to a laptop. We also recommend outer banks of energey (now very popular power banks) which will save your device in cases of emergency.
