Africans Can Now Recieve Payment On PayPal as Flutterwave Partners with Paypal

What is PayPal?

PayPal is an electronic commerce company that facilitates payments between parties through online transfers. PayPal allows customers to establish an account on its platform, which is connected to a user's credit card or checking account. Once identification and proof of funds are confirmed, users can begin sending or receiving payments to and from other PayPal accounts online or through the company's app.

PayPal was one of the first companies to create the internet’s infrastructure for cross-border payments. As of 2020, it had 377 million customers in more than 200 countries. It’s pretty unfortunate to know that you can’t receive payments on PayPal as an African. Still, with the recent partnership, PayPal has with Flutterwave, Africans can now receive payment on PayPal.
Flutterwave partners with PayPal to allow African merchants receive payments on PayPal

According to a statement by Flutterwave, the integration with PayPal is live and operational across 50 African countries and worldwide.
The service is only open to new and existing businesses on Flutterwave. In the coming weeks, the service will be open to individuals, freelancers, event owners, and NGO’s.
That means small business owners and freelancers who use Flutterwave in places like Kenya, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Mauritius, Malawi, Mozambique & Senegal will accept payments from PayPal users worldwide.

Olugbenga Agboola, Flutterwave’s CEO, said the partnership reinforces the Nigerian company’s vision of “creating a seamless digital payments system for Africa’s business communities that can now transact with international consumers.”

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro Unboxing And Review

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro Unboxing And Review

Redmi Note 10 pro and it's box

Redmi Note 10 Pro is one of the latest smartphone to be released by Xiaomi. Redmi Note 10 Pro global version was released on the 4th of March, 2021.
This phone is packed with loads of great features. Here is a quick review on it.
We have here a newly bought Redmi Note 10 Pro. Inside the box contains the following:

Redmi Note 10 Pro
33W Power adapter
USB-C cable
SIM ejector pin
User guide
Warranty card
Soft case
Screen protector (pre-installed)
Contents of Redmi Note 10 Pro box

Looking at the phone exterior we have the 3D curve glass back which is a little bit reflective and looks like would have a lot of finger print smudges. But you won't have to worry about it if you use the back cover.

The camera panel looks like the Mi 10T Pro except that this phone has 4 rear cameras.
Redmi Note 10 Pro camera

At the top we have the 3.5mm jack, a speaker, microphone and IR blaster.
Redmi Note 10 Pro top section

And at the side we have the volume buttons and the power button also the finger print sensor. And the finger print sensor is slightly lower compared to the Redmi Note 9 PRO which makes it more convenient to unlock and the button is slightly curve.
Redmi Note 10 Pro side fingerprint sensor

At the bottom, we have the microphone, type -c port and the speaker.

At the other side we have the sim tray. which supports dual sim plus a micro SD slot.

SIM tray

The Redmi note 10 Pro is only 4G. The phone is already pre loaded with the MIUI 12 based on Android 11.

And moving along to its screen many will be happy as this budget phone comes with a 6.67 inch Amoled dot display screen. So now we will have deep blacks and more energy effecient screen on the Redmi Note 10 PRO. And not only that it comes with a high Refresh rate of 120Hz and Touch sampling rate of 240Hz.

The front camera dot is smaller than the Redmi Note 9 PRO and it looks cleaner.
Front camera

And one of the key feature of this phone is the 108MP camera main shooter and it also comes with 8MP ultra-wide angle camera FOV 118°, 5MP telemacro camera and the 2MP depth sensor. And the front camera is a 16 MP. And has been pre loaded with some fun camera features like.

Video clones
Dual video
ShootSteady
Pro time-lapse video
Telemacro time-lapse video
Video macro mode

And as always the Redmi Note series the best mid ranger phone with an amazing performance. Equipt with the powerful Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 732G with 8nm processing technology and Qualcomm® Adreno™ 618 GPU. So far I didn't have any issues while doing a quick test on some of the games.
Playing asphalt 9 on Redmi Note 10 Pro smartphone

The redmi note 10 pro has Long battery life with 5020mAh and I would say Battery life of up to two days with normal use

On paper using the 33W fast charging. 59% charge in just 30 minutes.
Redmi Note 10 Pro charging

This phone specs are so heavy makes me doubt that this is a mid range phone. To add the it has Dual speakers with powerful quality sound.

Wait there's more it also has an IP rating of IP53 which is splash resistant, NFC capable and much more.

Why not get yourself a Redmi Note 10 Pro and feel the power.

150+ Best Windows CMD Commands You Need To Know

150+ Best Windows CMD Commands You Need To Know

150+ Best Windows CMD Commands You Need To Know

What is CMD?

CMD is an acronym for Command. Command prompt or CMD is the command line interpreter of Windows operating systems. It is similar to Command.com used in DOS and Windows 9x systems where it is called as “MS-DOS Prompt”. It is analogous to Unix Shells used on Unix like system. The command prompt is a native application of the Windows operating system and gives the user an option to perform operations using commands.

Command prompt makes use of the command line interface to interact with the User. In the Windows operating system, this command prompt interface is implemented through the Win32 console. User can open the interface by via the CMD run command or by going to its original location C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe.

How Does CMD Works?

With the command shell, you can have direct interaction with the operating system. Think command prompt as an interpreter which accepts the commands or the inputs from the User and translate it into machine language. These commands are predefined and perform a specific task. These commands can be clubbed together as well to perform a series of task. Also, these commands need not be entered manually and can be written in a batch file to automate some of the manual tasks like taking a scheduled server backup, deleting junk files and so on. These commands are very handy at the time of network troubleshooting or for a day to day work. These commands can be called from many programming languages such as Java which allows the programmer to perform task directly via the command prompt which otherwise would take several lines of code to be written essentially to perform the same task.

How To Use CMD Commands?

To Open CMD, you need to search for CMD in the Search box or you can simply press Windows Key + R that will eventually open the Run window, where you need to type CMD and hit enter. Below are list of very useful CMD Commands for your windows system.

How To Save Your iPhone Battery From Running Down Fast

How To Save Your iPhone Battery From Running Down Fast

How To Save Your iPhone Battery From Running Down Fast

We all know iPhone Battery doesn't last long but on this post, I'll be exposing you on some iPhone settings you need to turn off inorder to save your battery or prevent it from running down fast.

Iphone Settings To Turn Off

1. iPhone Analytics

Turning this off will improve your iPhone’s battery life and give you more privacy. iPhone Analytics sends data from your iPhone to Apple which drains your battery and could present a privacy issue about how you use your phones.
This feature is so that they can improve their stuff but that’s their job in my opinion. Although the data sent is de-identified this is an unnecessary feature if you are already having battery performance issues.
So how do we do it,
open the Settings App scroll down to Privacy, scroll down to Analytics turn-off share iPhone Analytics. This will also turn off data collection on your Apple watch great bonus and everything else in here too.
Go to Settings > Privacy > Analytics > Turn Off Share iPhone Analytics
iPhone settings

2. Cloud Analytics

Like iPhone Analytics, turning this off will improve your iPhone’s battery life and give you more privacy.

We just want to turn this off as we did for iPhone Analytics it’s just with iCloud on the same screen nice and easy.

Cloud Analytics

3. Significant Locations

Significant Locations tracks the places you visit most often and saves them onto your iPhone. Turning it off will improve your battery life and help you maintain your privacy.

Significant Locations means that your iPhone keeps track of everywhere you go by using your GPS. They can then deliver relevant advertising to you, which is supposed to make your experience better but I think it’s kind of creepy.

For instance it’s really weird when you’ve had it turned on for a long time and then you go to Significant Locations. It’s like here are the ten places you’ve been and I’m like wow I had no idea! It’s like a horror movie so let’s turn off Significant Locations go back to Privacy, tap Privacy in the upper left and scroll up to Location Services. Now scroll all the way to the bottom to System Services.

You know they don’t want you to turn it off when they bury it in like five layers.

Then scroll to Significant Locations, tap on that and turn it off, if I had left it on for a week it would have my home address, gym, work and any place I’ve been so turn it off and you’ll have the option to clear the history there in case you’re freaking out which is pretty cool.

Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Significant Locations > Turn Off Significant Locations

iPhone location

4. System Services

Almost everything in System Services are unnecessary as they are constantly running in the background of your iPhone and draining its battery.

So let’s just tap back to Settings and we are going to turn off everything in here and this is my recommendation except for Emergency Calls & SOS, Find my iPhone and Share My Location if that’s a feature that you use.

Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services

iPhone system service

So let’s turn off:

· Compass Calibration

· Location-Based Alerts

· Setting Time Zone — Kind turn off only if you’re traveling a lot so if you do travel just turn it on and then it fixes the time zone. Turn it back off again once you arrive, you can tell that even with it on there is a purple arrow which means that it was tracking your location to find out what time zone you were in. Wasting your battery life so if you are not traveling through time zones it doesn’t need to be checking all the time.

· WiFi Calling — Turn it off if you already have good cellphone reception in your area. So I promise you that all these things are just going to save your iPhone battery life.

Here’s the thing all these things make it seem like if you turn them off then it’s going to stop working. Except it doesn’t stop working if you turn it off a lot of this stuff is just data for Apple. So if you think you can live without it just Turn it off.

5. Limit Ad Tracking

Limit Ad Tracking will prevent advertisers from collecting more detailed information about you.

Limited Ad Tracking is off by default so this is something we are going to Turn on in order to Turn it off. All right so let’s tap back to the main Location Services menu then back to Privacy and then scroll to the bottom and tap Advertising.

· Go to Settings > Privacy > Advertising > Turn On Limit Ad Tracking

So yes by turning it on it’s going to turn off the tracking to prevent advertisers from tracking you, as you use your iPhone when connected to the Internet.

You’d be amazed how well it works to help them target your location and run ads as you move around. Collecting more information about you so keep it on as it’s kind of creepy.

6. Fetch New Data

Fetch New Data — Changing your Settings from Push to Fetch will help you save battery life.

So let’s tap Privacy in the upper left hand corner to go back, tap Settings again and scroll down to Passwords & Accounts.

· Go to Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Tap Every 15 Minutes > Turn Off Push > Change Accounts you want to Fetch

iPhone settings

So with Fetch new data is set to every 15 minutes which is good with Push turned off. I recommend always turning off Push as your iPhone will always be connected to your Mail Servers and iCloud and will always be requesting mail every second, whereas Fetch means that your iPhone checks every 15 minutes or 30 minutes or however often you decide.

Whether there’s new mail so unless you’re in a situation where you need to know exactly this second when you got a new email you can save a lot of battery life, by turning off Push and changing your accounts to Fetch which you can do individually.

So Turn off Push and have Fetch enabled for your main Mail Accounts and then set up the Fetch settings at the bottom and choose every 15 minutes.

I should mention too that you can always open the Mail App and see if there’s a new email. So whenever you use the App it’s going to check as well, so most people won’t ever notice a difference except for improved battery life!

7. Background App Refresh

Background App Refresh for certain Apps — This will prevent Apps from constantly running in the background of your iPhone and draining its battery life.

· Go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh > Turn Off Apps you don’t need to be continuously updating in the background

The last setting that you should turn off right away is Background App Refresh. So let’s head back to Accounts and back to Settings, scroll up to General and then scroll down to Background App Refresh perfect.

Background App Refresh allows certain Apps to download data in the background even when you’re not using them. So I recommend going through this list and turning off Background App Refresh for Apps that don’t need to download data when you’re not using them.

So for instance the Amazon App to update when you’re not using it is generally not required same with Hulu, Nomorobo, Podcasts, Reddit, Robinhood and SEFCU in the example above.

However there might be Apps you do need to be updating in the background like an app like News or ESPN, if you want the score right now so that might be understandable. So that is exactly why you should have it on in this case perfect.

Now if your battery is still Draining Fast and or Getting Hot the best way to check the changes you have made are working, is to go to Settings and then scroll down and tap the Battery Usage by App.

· Go to Settings > Battery > Tap Battery Usage by App

You should now see the Settings App start to drop below your highest power consuming Apps. From here you can then see what Apps are actually consuming up your battery life and need to be Turned-Off right away.
