This might sound untrue to some people, but I want to assure you all that it's true and I'll never post any awoof here if I've not participated in it.
For quite sometime now, Airtel have been sending messages to its users to upgrade their SIM card to the new 4G SIM. I'm sure most of you got this message and maybe probably ignore it. As for me, I don't let this kind of thing pass me by with having a taste of it.
HOW TO GET 4GB DATA
Now let me share with you how to get the 4Gb data through my own experience.
For you to get and enjoy this data, you need to make sure you are using a 4G enabled device. If you have a 4G device, then you are good to go.
Rush down to the nearest Airtel registered care shop, you will always find them in every shoprite mall or you can check Airtel official website for their various shop locations close to you.
When you get there, request for a SIM upgrade and you will attended by any of their staff. It's just almost the same process of getting a new SIM. You have to go with a valid ID card, voters card or national ID card preferably.
When you are done filling the form, your old SIM will be collected from you and you will be given a brand new 4G SIM. Don't worry about your phone number, Cus your old number will still be retained.
You will be asked to pay a sum of 1k. The SIM card contains ₦800 airtime and 4GB data that will last for 7 days.
Another good thing is that the new 4G SIM starts working immediately you insert it to your phone. Make sure you check your data & airtime balance and be sure you got the free offers before you leave the shop.
There you have it, now you can start enjoying faster internet connectivity on Airtel 4G with your free 4gb and subsequent subscription.
Below is my data balance for those that are still in doubt.
Note: This offer applies to only users with 4G enabled devices.
